WOMEN'S BASETBALL FALLS IN LAST GAME OF CALENDAR YEAR

Box Score SAGINAW, MI: The Walsh Cavaliers wrapped up their pre holiday road trip last night as they faced GLIAC member, Saginaw Valley State. In a rather even match up, the Maroon and Gold were downed, 73-65, to the now 3-6 Cardinals. Walsh could once again not overcome cold shooting as they shot 36.5% from the floor and 29.2% from behind the arc. The Cavaliers were consistently down five to ten points in the contest, not finding anything to really help them get back into the game. 

Walsh will close out the calendar year with a record of 8-4 and 4-0 in Great Midwest play. Coming off of the holiday break, they will return to the state of Michigan to face Northwood and Hillsdale. 

Through 12 games, Kiley Dyrlund leads the team in scoring at 19.9 points per game. She also leads on the boards at 10.2 rebounds per game. She is currently leading the G-MAC in the points per game category and field goal percentage, then is 2nd in rebounds and steals per game.
