NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Men's Basketball team wrapped up the calendar year in Alumni Arena last night as they hosted Bryant and Stratton. Walsh rolled to victory, moving to 9-1 on the season. With the final score of 114-77, the Men have eclipsed 100 points five times this season. Through December 21st, the Cavs are the 6th highest scoring offense in NCAA Division II.
In the win on Tuesday, the Cavs were efficient on both ends of the court. 58 Walsh points were scored in the paint, 24 more than the visitors. The Cavalier bench was also reliable as 51 points came from players off the bench. The Maroon and Gold forced 13 turnovers to their 6.
Up next, Walsh will travel to Michigan to return to Great Midwest play. Saturday's game is at Northwood followed up by a contest vs Hillsdale on Monday the 5th.
