YOUNGSTOWN, OH AND INDIANA, PA: The Cavaliers were back in action for the 2nd weekend of spring tennis. The Men competed at Youngstown State University and the Women at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Both teams competed tough but ultimately fell in both matches.
Nicolas Stroehle led the Men, staying undefeated in singles winning his 3rd set in a tiebreaker.
Lina Starke performed well, moving up to #1 singles after an injury to the team. Her victorious match was key in the comeback efforts that slightly fell short.
Both teams will travel north, to Michigan, this coming weekend with matches at GVSU and Davenport.
