LAKE ERIE'S DEFENSE TOO MUCH FOR WALSH

NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh University Men's Basketball team suffered a disappointing 80-68 loss to Lake Erie in their latest G-MAC game at Alumni Arena. Despite a valiant effort, the Cavaliers couldn't maintain the momentum from their recent road win against Cedarville.

The game was closely contested in the first half, with Lake Erie holding a slim 37-34 lead at halftime. However, the Storm pulled away in the second half, outscoring Walsh 43-34 to secure the victory.

Zack Oddo led the Cavaliers with an impressive double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Matthew Biddell also had a strong performance with 18 points, while Kobe Mitchell contributed 15 points, including three three-pointers.

Despite shooting a respectable 45.8% from the field, Walsh struggled from beyond the arc, connecting on only 27.3% of their three-point attempts. The Cavaliers also had difficulty containing Lake Erie's bench, which outscored Walsh's reserves 35-4.
