NORTH CANTON, OH: It was a good day for the Walsh Cavaliers Women's Lacrosse team as they earned their first win of the season. After hitting the road for the first four contests, the Cavs were searching to flip the script as they returned home. After a quick start, Charleston went up 3 goals to none as they looked to spoil the home opener. Eventually, Walsh tied it but then exploded in the second half. The home team heated up on both ends of the field scoring 7 goals and holding the Golden Eagles to 2.
Goalie,
Alison O'Hanian, totaled 10 saves, allowing her team to get back and a game and then earn the win.
Walsh will hit the road once again on Thursday, to face Daemen!
