ELKINS, WV: Walsh Men's Lacrosse took on Davis and Elkins in a G-MAC road battle yesterday evening. The Cavaliers led for the entirety of the contest but by small margins til the final 15 minutes. A 14 goal fourth quarter showed offensive brilliance - the most goals scored in a quarter all season. 9 Cavs connected on at least one goals with
Hudson Dennill leading the way with 6 goals.
The 24-6 victory pushed Walsh's win streak to 8 against Davis and Elkins and and moved the Cavs conference record to 6-2. Six G-MAC wins is a program most in school history!
With one regular season game remaining, the 8-6 (6-2) Cavs have clinched a spot in the Great Midwest postseason! Before looking ahead, though, the Men will face Seton Hill on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 4pm.
