ASHLAND, OH: The Walsh Cavaliers Women's Lacrosse team fell in the Great Midwest Semifinal on Thursday night. Facing the University of Findlay Oilers, the Maroon and Gold had a tough task in front of them. After an hour storm delay, pregame, Walsh found themselves down 5-3. Down 7-4 at the half, the Cavs needed a strong 2nd half to complete the comeback.
At the 7:31 mark of the 4th, a
Grace Santee goal cut the deficit to one but the Oilers had different plans. 2 goals lifted Findlay to victory and a spot in the G-MAC Championship.
Walsh ends their season with a 9-8 record.
