BIG RAPIDS, MI: The Cavaliers were back on the golf course this week as they competed at the Midwest/Central Regional Preview. Hosted by Ferris State, the 54 hole event was held at Katke Golf Club in Big Rapids, MI. 36 holes on Monday, were followed up by 18 on Tuesday, the format of most D2 golf tournaments.
The field consisted of 19 teams across many conferences including the G-MAC, GLIAC, GLVC, and PSAC. Rockhurst won the event shooting a three round total of 864. The Maroon and Gold finished 13th with a total of 912.
The Men will have a few weekends off before they travel west for the Kyle Ryman Memorial tournament hosted by Tiffin University.

FOR THE CAVS
- Blake Hood led the team finishing 29th overall, He fired rounds of 76, 75, 73. He totaled 8 birdies across the 54 holes.
- Sachin Nallapaneni (75, 80, 76) and Brogan Sullivan (76, 77, 79) fell in line next for the Men.
- Will Ashy rounded out the team scoring for Walsh - shooting 3 rounds of 78
- Freshman, Brodi Foster was also in the Walsh line up and shot 86, 71, 80.
