WESLEY CHAPEL, FL AND RICHMOND, KY: Golf season is in full swing for the Cavaliers as March is almost over. This month, the teams competed in the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff and University of Findlay Spring Invite, gearing up for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships. The team has seen a mix of conditions early this spring with typical Florida weather at the Saddlebrook event but then March Midwest conditions in Kentucky. The third round of the Women's tournament in Richmond was cancelled due to weather. 

With two tournaments for each program completed, both teams will travel to Florence, IN and Belterra Golf Club for the 2026 Belterra Classic hosted by Ashland and Findlay. 

MEN'S RESULTS 
SADDLEBROOK SPRING KICKOFF: 5th out of 6 - 321, 316, 314

• Blake Hood finished 11th overall with scores of 78, 75, 79
• Joachim Yu competed as an individual and finished 14th overall shooting 82, 76, 78
• Brodi Foster (81, 78, 81) and Matt Stephan (78, 82, 82) were also in the top 25.

UF SPRING INVITE: 19th out of 20 - 309, 299, 307

• Matt Stephan led Walsh finishing 60th overall. His rounds were 73, 75, 76.
• Brodi Foster (76, 73, 76) and Blake Hood (80, 72, 76) were next in line for the Cavs.

WOMEN'S RESULTS
SADDLEBROOK SPRING KICKOFF: 4th out of 8 - 347, 334, 318

• Sydney Hugo finished 2nd with rounds of 75, 83, 76.
• Ashlee Garner was in the top 10 with a 9th place finish shooting 85, 83, 78.

UF SPRING INVITE: 12th out of 15 - 343, 332

• Sydney Hugo led the team finishing 31st - 83, 79.
