PAINESVILLE, OH: Women's Soccer traveled to Painesville, Ohio to take on the Lake Erie Storm on Saturday afternoon. The Cavs hit the ground running right from kickoff with a Paityn Marino goal in the 2nd minute of the match on an assist from Audrey Johnson. Marino has now scored in five straight games.
Walsh would hold onto this lead for the majority of the match, firing 17 shots at the Storm. However, despite only having 6 shots, the Storm equalized in the 61st minute of the match where the score would stand at 1-1 until the final whistle.
The Maroon and Gold return to the pitch on Thursday, October 2nd, at 4 P.M. when they travel to the University of Findlay.
