HILLSDALE, MI:
Quintero Barnett and the Walsh Men's Basketball team bounced back from a Saturday loss to earn a Monday win against the Hillsdale Chargers, on the road. The victory was the Cavaliers 10th win of this season.
From the jump, the contest was going to be a battle. Both teams shot well from the floor with Walsh edging the Chargers, going 16-30 (53.33%) from the field, helping them get a 36-33 edge at the half. The start to the second half continued to be back and forth but consistent offense and stops on defense helped the Maroon and Gold build a 10 point lead at the 6:58 mark. Despite small runs from Hillsdale, the Cavaliers never wavered on the way to a 76-64 win.
The Men will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to Cedarville for a 7:30pm tip off.
