NORTH CANTON, OH: With the win on Thursday evening, the Walsh Women's Basketball program clinched a spot the the G-MAC tournament as well as securing the programs first above .500 season since 2021-2022. 

After a slow start on the offensive end of the floor, the Maroon and Gold found their groove come the 2nd quarter, outscoring the arrows 24-8. In that quarter, the Women shot 55.6% including connecting on three 3's. The strong quarter gave the Cavs a 20 point lead heading into halftime. 

Ursuline made a small run at the beginning of the 4th quarter, cutting the deficit to 9 but Walsh responded by going on an 8-0 run to secure the 15th win of the season. 

After starting off January on an eight game losing streak, the Women have bounced back, saving the season by going 6-3 since January 17th. 

The final week of the regular season will include two huge contests, on the road at Ashland and at home vs Malone. 

Walsh enters the final week of the regular season at 15-11 and 11-7 in the conference. They are currently in 4th place.

• Kiley Dyrlund led all scorers with 20 points. She added 6 steals and 4 rebounds.
• Carlota Lopez added 13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
• Sami Kim made huge contributions with 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
