COLUMBUS, OH: The Walsh Cavalier Baseball team earned another Great Midwest Athletic Conference series win this past weekend. In an offensive onslaught, the Cavs took three out of four games vs the Panthers. Senior, Center Fielder,
Mason Stoldt had himself a weekend that earned him Great Midwest Athlete of the Week, making him the 8th different Cav to earn that honor this season. Stoldt had 4 home runs in the series including a grand slam in game two. Stoldt currently leads the conference in home runs (15) and RBI's (55).
The Cavaliers have their last non league game of the regular season, at Gannon, tomorrow. First pitch, at Gannon, is set for 3pm. Walsh will then return to Biery Stadium for their final two conference series the next two weekends. They will welcome Cedarville and Kentucky Wesleyan.
Currently, the Maroon and Gold are first in the South Division, holding a three game lead over Kentucky Wesleyan. Overall in the conference, Walsh is tied for 2nd out of 12 schools

- Despite the Cavs tieing the game up at 13, ODU scored 4 in the bottom of the 5th to earn the win.
- In a 17 hit outing, Brodey Acres led with 4 hits including 2 doubles and an home run.
- Mason Stoldt had 7 RBI's on 3 hits including 2 home runs.

GAME 4, SCORE: WU 15 - ODU 2
- Walsh responded in a big way after the tough loss. They mercied the Panthers in 7 innings. Walsh exploded for 17 hits.
- Mason Stoldt had another home run totaling 3 hits and 3 RBI's.
- Devon Morris was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles.
- Sam Yoder pitched a complete game, allowing just 1 earned run in 7 innings.
