NORTH CANTON, OH: Three Cavalier athletic programs have earned team academic awards for their strong efforts in the classroom during the 2025-2026 school year. Given by their respective coaches associations, Volleyball, Track & Field, and Baseball were honored. 

Volleyball was recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and met the requirement of maintaining a year-long grade point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. This is the programs third year in a row earning this award. 

The Track and Field program was honored by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association for both Men's and Women's. 5 individuals in Colton Ferrucci, Joel Brown, Brody Pumneo, Tatum Miller, and Maddie Swartz were also honored as All-Academic Athletes. The All-Academic Team award was given to both teams with the Men holding a 3.42 GPA and the Women holding a 3.61 GPA. 

Walsh Baseball earned the American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award for the 11th season in a row. The award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.
