WASHINGTON, MI AND INDIANAPOLIS, IN: Despite the soggy and cold conditions, Walsh Men's and Women's Golf competed on Monday and Tuesday, playing 54 holes across the two days. The Women's team played at the Warrior Invitational as Orchards Golf Club while the Men played at the UIndy Invitational at Broadmoor Golf Club. 

The Men finished 14th out of 17 teams with rounds of 291, 297, and 295. Thomas King shot a 54 hole total of +1 (71, 73, 73). He totaled 11 birdies overall. Will Ashy also had a strong weekend with rounds of 71, 71, and 77.

The Women placed 14th out of 14 teams with team rounds of 365, 338, and 371. Ashlee Garner led the Maroon and Gold with rounds of 85, 82, and 90. Danielle Ray Del Val was close behind with rounds of 92, 80, and 87.

The Cavaliers also competed in a one day event at Glenmoor Country last Thursday. The team finished 3rd out of 8 teams with a 361. Danielle Ray Del Val finished 4th with an 81.

The Men will tee it up on 9/28 and 9/29 at the Crossroads Cup in Nashport, Ohio. The Women will be back on the course on October 5th and 6th.
