NORTH CANTON, OH: With October looming, another set of regional and national rankings were released by the United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association this afternoon.

Despite staying the the same spot regionally, the Men 4th and Women 10th, the Cavalier Men moved up one spot in the national poll, to 17th in DII rankings.

In the Men's national poll, other Midwest region schools mentioned were Grand Valley State (4), Lewis (10), Saginaw Valley (11), and Missouri S&T (29). Walsh is the only G-MAC school included in the poll.

Both programs will run this week with some Cavs at Ohio Wesleyan and some at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, PA. The Paul Short Invitational is hosted by Lehigh University.
