Walsh University

Mark Johnston is in his eighth season in North Canton after he returned to Walsh after coaching for four years at Baldwin Wallace. At BW, Johnston worked with the defensive backs as well as the strength and conditioning program.

Before that, Johnston served as an assistant coach for the Cavaliers for 12 seasons. During his time at Walsh he worked with defense and as the strength and conditioning coordinator. Johnston coached the defensive backs at Heidelberg College prior to coming to Walsh. Before that he spent two years as a graduate assistant at Ohio University and one year at Loras College. Johnston played his college career at Ohio University and high school at Canton McKinley.

Mark and his wife Alice have two boys, Luke and Matthew, and reside in North Canton.
