Walsh University

Aidan Martinez was named the Walsh Men's Lacrosse Assistant Coach following the 2026 season. Previously, Martinez was the program's graduate assistant and defensive coordinator. 

Aidan is from Olmsted Falls, Ohio and is a Walsh University Alum, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2024. He is currently working toward is Masters of Arts in Education. 

Martinez is very familiar with the Walsh Men's Lacrosse program as he was a defensive midfielder for the Cavs. During his time in the Maroon and Gold he also was a 2 time captain. 

Outside of his coaching experience at Walsh, Martinez has been a head coach and assistant coach with Aviators Lacrosse Club and is currently the Spiders Lacrosse Club Head Coach and BTG Ohio National Team Coach. 

Martinez said, "I’m excited to build on what we’ve established at Walsh, develop our players, strengthen our culture, and continue pushing this team towards being a championship-level lacrosse program."
