Katie Cozy has been apart of the Cavaliers softball program since 2020. She spent two seasons as a Graduate Assistant and then was elevated to Assistant Coach. 

Cozy joined the Cavaliers after a four-year playing career as an infielder at the University of Toledo. She ranks fourth in career doubles (41) and sixth with home runs in a career (18).

Cozy's senior season saw her lead the Rockets with a .316 batting average as she was named NFCA Great Lakes Region, All-MAC Tournament Team and All-MAC Second Team. The Rockets were MAC Champions, making the NCAA Regionals. In her junior season, Cozy was a part of the MAC West Division Co-Champion squad, where she made the NIASC All-Tournament Team and MAC All-Tournament Team. 

Cozy is from Louisville, Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Recreational Therapy.
