Coach Rizzo is in her third year with the Maroon and Gold.
Before joining the Cavs in 2022, Rizzo served as an assistant coach at her alma matter, Pitt-Johnstown. She helped guide the Mountain Cats to three wins against Top 25 ranked teams in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. They also won their first tournament game in school history as a member of the PSAC. While playing for the Mountain Cats, Coach Moreland was a three year starter and two year captain. She holds the Pitt-Johnstown program record for charges taken.
Before taking a coaching position at Pitt-Johnstown, Rizzo was the Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant at Detroit Mercy.
Coach Rizzo is currently a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and has attended the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four Convention.
