Rachel Black was named Head Coach of the Walsh Women's Lacrosse Coach in June of 2026 after serving as the Interim Head Coach during the spring of 2026.
As Interim, she led the program to 4 All-Conference selections and 2 Players of the Year in the G-MAC.
Rachel is very familiar to Cavalier Nation as she was a member of the Women's Lacrosse program from 2022-2025. During her time wearing the Maroon and Gold, she was a three time G-MAC Champion, Freshman of the Year in 2022, and earned multiple All-Conference honors. She also holds the school record for most points in a career with 257 points.
