(HILLSDALE, Mich.) – Dominique Foley led a quartet of Cavaliers in double-figures with a career-high 16 points to help Walsh return to the win column with a 68-60 decision over Hillsdale. Foley has now had back-to-back games where she has recorded a career-high in points.

Jalynn Graham, Brittni Clopton, and Brooklyn Wooten all joined her in double-figures. Graham poured in 13, Clopton added 11, and Wooten tallied 10 off the bench in helping Walsh (9-8, 5-5) defeat Hillsdale (10-8, 4-7).

The game was close throughout as neither team held a lead larger than nine points. That advantage belonged to the Maroon and Gold after Clopton scored on a layup with an assist from Wooten to make the score 32-23.

At that time, the Chargers rallied to close the half on a 9-0 run to tie the game at the break. They extended that run with the first basket of the second half to take a 34-32 lead before Foley landed one of her four 3-pointers in the game to regain the lead.

The teams exchanged leads four more times after that before the Cavs took the lead for good on a 3-pointer by Graham that put the score at 46-43 with 1:22 to go in the third.

Foley finished the game 6-of-12 from the floor which included an impressive 4-of-6 from behind the arc. Graham was two rebounds away from a double-double and was also 50 percent from the floor with a 4-of-8 mark.

Clopton added seven rebounds to help Walsh dominate the glass and outrebound the Chargers by a 44-26 margin.

Alex Hochstedler helped set up the offense as she dished out eight assists for a new career-best mark.

Walsh will return to action this Saturday in a battle between two of the top teams in the GLIAC's South Division. ODU currently sits in second place in the division with a 12-6 overall record with a 7-4 conference mark. Tip-off with the Panthers is set for 1 p.m. in Columbus.
