Box Score CANTON, OHIO - The Walsh University Women's Basketball team took a trip down Route 43 on Tuesday (December 14) and got the job done. The Cavaliers took home the victory against neighboring Malone 83-73. In an explosive offensive performance by the Cavs, the win would help them to improve to 7-2 overall.

FOR THE CAVALIERS:
- Lexie Scarton came to play, and she wasted no time. Scarton connected on 6-6 shots from behind the arc on her road to scoring a career high 30 points for the Cavaliers.
- The Senior guard shot a whopping 80% from the field as she hit 12 of 15 shots and also tallied 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
- Sha Carter added another double-double to her resume after last night's win.
- Carter threw up 16 points on the board for the maroon and gold, pulled down 10 rebounds and also added 4 assists.
- Morgan McMillen and Mayci Sales each added 12 and 11 points respectively.
- McMillen secured 9 points from behind the arc and added 3 assists.
- Sales grabbed 4 rebounds and added 2 assists.
- The Cavaliers won the rebounding war as they were able to out-rebound Malone 38-26.
FOR THE PIONEERS:
- Robin Campbell led the way for the Pioneers with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
- Holly Groff connected on 5 of 8 shots thrown up from behind the 3 point line.
