NORTH CANTON, Ohio- The Walsh University Women's basketball team battled neighboring rival Malone today in Alumni Arena. Seven Cavaliers would add points on the board to help lock in the win.

SHORT STORY:

Sha Carter guided the maroon and gold to another victory on the season by tallying 25 total points. Connecting on 2 shots from behind the arc on her trek to 25 points, Carter also contributed 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the Cavs. Mayci Sales would put on another dominating performance with the Cavs only double-double on the day. Sales tallied 17 points,13 rebounds and added 4 assists. Alyssa Dean would score her season high 15 points, 9 of which were made from connections behind the three point line. The Cavaliers led the field with a dominating day on the boards, out rebounding the Pioneers 38-23. The Cavs also totaled 21 team assists over Malone's 10.

For the Pioneers, Sophomore Alexis Hutchison led the way with 22 points. Holly Groff and Robin Campbell each added 14 and 15 points respectively.
