NORTH CANTON, OH- On Saturday, October 8th, the nationally ranked Ashland Eagles visited Larry Staudt Field. There was no question to why the Eagles are one of the top teams in the country, as they scored two touchdowns within the first two minutes. Costly Cavalier turnovers were no help to the cause as Ashland went on to score two more touchdowns late in the first quarter to go up 28-0 after 15 minutes. The Eagles would score one more touchdown in the game.

- In a only a few played possessions, starting QB, Austin Brenner was six for nine, 82 yards, and two touchdowns.
- Ashland rushing attack, led by Larry Martin and Gei'vonni Washington, ran for 164 yards and a touchdown.
- Kristian Gehrisch led the team with five tackles. Alan Deeb had a sack and forced two fumbles.
The Cavs will face Lake Erie on 10/15 at noon for the Pride and Passion Game.
