COLUMBUS, OH - The Walsh Football Team had a conference match up with Ohio Dominican on Saturday. The fall chill was in the air at Panther Stadium. The first quarter was scoreless for both teams. Midway through the second quarter, the Panthers found the end zone not once, but twice. Both scoring plays were on the ground. The game continued back in forth until 4:48 left in the third quarter. ODU quarterback, Jake Byrd threw a 29 yard touchdown pass to Andrew Wolf. ODU would win the game 21-0.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Garrett Waite paced the Cavs in receiving yards with 29. 
• On the defensive side, Stephen Baugh had nine tackles including a sack. 
• Cam Hollobaugh also had an active day with eight tackles and one sack.  
• Robbie Page and Rian Anderson each had an interception. 

FOR THE PANTHERS

• QB, Jake Byrd, threw for 286 yards on 27 completions and one touchdown pass. 
• The ODU rushing attack ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns. 
• On the receiving end, Andrew Wolf, Zach Bartrum, and Austin Davis led the Panthers. 
• Daishaun Hill led the Panthers in tackles with eight. 

Walsh returns home to face Ashland on October 8th.
