DETROIT, MI- Before the holiday last week, the Maroon and Gold traveled to Wayne State to play in the Warrior Holiday Basketball Tournament. The Cavs had games against Saginaw Valley State and host, Wayne State. These would be the final two games before conference play started. Both games were lost by seven points each.

FOR THE CAVS VS SAGINAWÂ
- Morgan McMillen led the Cavs in scoring with 24 points. She shot 50% from three point range.Â
- Lexie Scarton contributed all around with a stat line of 11 points, six assists, and seven rebounds.Â
- Freshman, Kiley Dyrlund, would add seven boards for the Cavs.Â
- The Cavs were outscored 19-8 in the fourth quarter.Â
FOR THE CAVS VS WAYNE STATE
- Kiley Dyrlund lead the team with 11 points. She also added six rebounds.Â
- Emma Dretke helped the Cavs with eight points, six rebounds, and two assists.Â
- Lexie Scarton was the leading rebounder for Walsh, with eight.Â
The Women return to the court on Thursday, December 1st against Ohio Dominican. This will kick off G-MAC play.Â
