NORTH CANTON, OHIO- The Walsh University Women's basketball team opened up conference play against Ohio Dominican on Thursday night in Alumni Arena. The Cavs were dominant over the Panthers in their 66-41 victory.

FOR THE CAVALIERS:
- Lexie Scarton paced the Cavs with 15 points and 9 rebounds, just shy of a double-double. Scarton also added 5 assists and 1 steal.
- Morgan McMillen, earning a double-double on the day, tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds over the Panthers.
- McMillen was 3-3 from the free throw line and also added 3 assists and 1 steal.
- Coming off the bench, freshmen Kylie Dyrlund put up 9 points on the board. Dyrlund also added 1 block and 3 steals.
- Lauren Galaska added 8 points for the Cavs after connecting on 4 of 6 attempts from the field.
- Galaska also pulled down 7 boards and had 1 steal.
FOR THE PANTHERS:
- Gabby Stare put up 20 points for the Panthers.
- Stare also tallied 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
- Logan Pride and Nia Johnson each added 6 points on the board.
The Cavaliers make the trip to Ashland to take on the Eagles on Thursday, December 8th at 5:30pm.
