ASHLAND, OH- The Maroon and Gold faced the number two team in the country last night, the Ashland Eagles. In a packed house, the undefeated Eagles found themselves up 13. The Cavaliers gave a good effort, shooting 50% from the field and 35% from three. Unfortunately, a 31 point third quarter from Ashland was the biggest difference. Ashland shot 57% from the field and 44% from three.

FOR THE CAVS
- Morgan McMillen led all scorers in the contest with 19 points. She shot 7-8 from the field, 2-2 from behind the arc, and 3-4 from the free throw line.
- Kiley Dyrlund added 12 points for the Maroon and Gold.
- Jamie Schmeltz had a solid night on the boards with six.
FOR THE EAGLES
- The purple and gold had six players in double figures. Hallie Heidemann led the way with 17.
- Maddie Maloney dished out six assists while Hayley Smith had seven rebounds.
The Cavaliers return to Alumni Arena, Saturday, December 10th vs Malone. Tip off is at 1pm.
