NORTH CANTON, OH- After ten minutes, the home team on the scoreboard, Walsh, was leading by seven. That didn't last long as Michigan Tech had a huge second quarter, outscoring the Cavs, 22-3. The next two quarters were close but unfortunately the Cavs were not able to closing the gap, falling 63-47 in the last game of 2022.

• Kiley Dyrlund went 6-7 from the field and lead the Cavs in scoring with 14 points.

• Isabella Lenz lead all scorers with 20 points. 
• Sara Dax had seven boards and eight points.
