NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh University Cavaliers recorded their tenth straight win on Saturday, February 5th, over rival Malone University. The victory over Malone secured the annual Mayors' Cup for the Cavs. 

Score: Walsh 79, Malone 65

Records: Walsh 18-3 (13-2 G-MAC), Malone 11-8 (7-6 G-MAC)

FOR WALSH: 

• Sha Carter powered the Walsh offense as she poured in 30 points, shooting thirteen-of-nineteen from the floor. 
• Mayci Sales recorded a double double with 21 points and game-high 13 rebounds. 
• #21 Morgan McMillen was three-of-five from behind the arc for a total of 13 points. 
• Senior guard Lexie Scarton dished out game-high five assists
• Alyssa Dean dominated on defense with a game-high four steals 
• Walsh won the rebounding war 36-24, while shooting 55.2% from the floor

FOR MALONE:

• Alexis Hutchinson led the Pioneers with 24 points, including three treys
• #12 Emma Kallas followed with 16 points, shooting a perfect eight-of-eight from the floor
• Senior Guard Robin Campbell added 11 points 
• Campbell and Madison Hunter grabbed team-high seven rebounds
