Box Score ASHLAND, OH- For the first time in the Division II era, the Walsh University Cavaliers are headed to the Sweet 16 with a 72-62 win over #1 seed Ashland. The Cavaliers maintained a strong lead throughout the game as they shot 50% from the floor and 60% from behind the arc.

FOR THE CAVALIERS:
- Graduate Forward Mayci Sales led the Walsh offense with 20 points as she shot nine-of-seventeen from the floor. Sales' 20 points puts her over the 2,000 point benchmark, becoming only the second player in program history to reach this milestone.
- Morgan McMillen shot 50% from the three as she poured in 18 points for the Cavs
- Sha Carter added 15 points and grabbed game-high nine rebounds. Carter also recorded a game-high four steals
- Walsh outrebounded Ashland 33-30 and forced the eagles to 14 turnovers
FOR THE EAGLES:
- Karlee Pireu led Ashland in scoring with 19 points as she was eight-of-eighteen on the day
- Annie Roshak followed with 13 points, shooting six-of-eleven
- #22 Sydney Jacobsen grabbed a team-high nine rebounds
