ASHLAND, OH- The Walsh University Cavaliers fell 73-63 in the G-MAC Championship Saturday (March 5th) to the Ashland Eagles. The loss puts Walsh at 26-4 on the year.

FOR WALSH:

• Sha Carter scored 23 points and had 11 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season
• Alyssa Dean added valuable minutes off the bench as she poured in 13 points, shooting five-of-eight from the floor
• Dean also led the Cavs in assists at four on the day
• Morgan McMillen followed with 10 points, including two treys
• Walsh forced the Eagles to 14 turnovers and outrebounded the Eagles 43-34

FOR ASHLAND:

• Hallie Heidemann led the Eagles in scoring at 21 points
• Annie Roshak shot eight-of-fourteen from the floor for 19 points
• Karlee Pireu add 18 points and posted a game-high five assists
• Roshak and Heidemann each grabbed eight rebounds a piece
