HILLSDALE, MI- The rain fell at Frank "Muddy" Waters Stadium Saturday evening. After a stagnant first quarter, the Cavaliers tallied their first touchdown of the season to go up 7-0 mid second quarter. The Chargers struck back, squaring the game up at 7 a piece. Right before the break, the Maroon and Gold scored to go into the locker up a score. The rain kept falling but that didn't stop the Cavs from adding to the board. Walsh led 17-14 going into the 4th quarter. The final quarter was all Hillsdale. The Chargers added 21 unanswered points to secure the win.

FOR THE CAVS
- Tai Carter and Dom Jennings led the Cavalier run game. Carter rushed for 60 yards and 1 touchdown. Jennings rushed for 55 yards and 1 touchdown.
- Kharion Davis recorded 61 receiving yards on the day.
- Kicker, Charles Hanchett was 2/2 on PAT's and connected a 20 yard attempt in the 3rd quarter.
- Defensively. Javon Colston had one interception and Diego Bremer led the team in tackles with 9.
FOR THE CHARGERS
- Quarterback, Luke Keller, was 12/21 with 205 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
- Running back, Michael Herzog, rushed for a total of 134 yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Isaac TeSlaa added 3 more scores and 189 receiving yards.
