CEDARVILLE, OH- The Walsh University Cross Country teams competed at the All-Ohio Collegiate XC Championships on Friday(September 16). The Men took home first place with a total team score of 61 which was 27 points less than second place, Division I Dayton. The Cavaliers tallied an average mile time of 4:59. The race consisted of 29 teams from all divisions on the men's side. The Women's team place third with a score of 131. The average mile time was 6:03.Â

FOR THE CAVALIER MEN:
- Zach Kreft took home the men's 1st place honors after crossing the finish line at the 24:03 minute mark. This will be the first win for Kreft as a Cavalier
- Nathan Moore was another top performer for the Cavs, as he finished in eighth place overall. Moore notched a time 24:36.3.Â
- 2021 first team all-conference member, Drew Roberts, finished in the top 20 with a race time of 24:46.6.
- Moore's time landed him in 12th place overall.
FOR THE CAVALIER WOMEN:Â
- Bridget Hahn placed 16th overall with a time of 18:23.9.
- Camryn Barker and Teja Young also placed in the top 50 for the maroon and gold.
- Walsh will compete next in the Paul Short Invite on Friday, September 30th in Bethlehem, PA.Â
