CANTON, OH- The Cavaliers weren't just looking for a G-MAC win on Thursday night. The Mayor's Cup was on the line as the Pioneers of Malone hosted the second match up of the season. The Maroon and Gold were also looking to snap a five game skid. After forty minutes of basketball, the Cavaliers completed all three missions; got a conference win, kept the Mayor's Cup at home, and snapped the losing streak. It was an all around team effort as the team had four in double figures. With this victory, the Cavs beat their rival both times in the 22-23 season.

FOR THE CAVS
- Morgan McMillen lead all scorers with 29 points. She shot 50% from behind the arc and 100% from the free throw line.
- Lexie Scarton contributed in all areas with 12 points, eight assists, and six rebounds.
- Freshmen, Emma Dretke and Kiley Dyrlund each had ten points.
FOR THE PIONEERS
- Erin Kaufman recorded a double double with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
- Alexis Hutchison lead the team in scoring with 19 and in assists with five.
- Brooklyn Troyer added 16 points.
