CEDARVILLE, OH- The Maroon and Gold came into Cedarville on a five game win streak. That streak was snapped by the home team in a scrappy contest on Thursday evening. The Walsh loss gives the Cavs a total of three in the conference. Ashland moved back into sole possession of second place with their win.
After 20 minutes, the game was all tied up at 33. Cedarville outscored the Cavs by seven during the last 20 minutes to pull out the win. Walsh only connected on one three pointer in the second half and only four in the game, going 14.8% from behind the arc.
