NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavalier Volleyball team hosted a weekend of conference matches to finish out the regular season. They hosted the Northwood Timberwolves on Thursday and fell in hard fought, 5 set, match. On Friday they faced the Ashland Eagles and came out with a clean sweep. During this match, senior, Grace Lindquist, became a new record holder for blocks in a single season! Grace now has 106 blocks and counting.On Saturday, the team honored their 5 seniors in a match against the Ohio Dominican Panthers. Unfortunately, they fell in 5 sets. Despite the losses this weekend, the Maroon and Gold are Co-Champions for the regular season in the North Division and have also been ranked 8th in the region. Strong weekend performances for Sammie DiBease, Arora Levengood, and Keanna Avery helped the Cavs clinch the 3rd seed in the conference tournament.
Up next, the Cavs will host Tiffin University in the G-MAC Quarterfinal on Tuesday at 6pm.
