TIFFIN, OH: The Walsh Women's Basketball Team opened up G-MAC play last night at Tiffin University. Coming off a loss before Thanksgiving, The Maroon and Gold got off to a strong start in the first ten minutes, making three 3s, and shooting 47% from the floor. The Dragons 20 point 2nd quarter got them within three points of the Cavs at the break. Walsh outscored Tiffin by 11 in the 4th, making 14 free throws to secure the victory.
The Women return to Alumni Arena tomorrow vs #1 Ashland University. Tomorrow will also be SAAC's annual "Teddy Bear Toss." Bring a new stuffed animal to donate to Akron Children's Hospital.

- Rory O'Hara led the Cavs with 17 points. Coming off the bench, she played 26 minutes and five rebounds.
- Daylan Baker and Alycia Triplett were also in double figures, adding 11 and 10 points each.
- Lauren Galaska was active in all categories with six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
