NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavaliers took on the #1 ranked Ashland Eagles at home on Saturday. The Eagles showed why they are the top ranked team in the country, starting the game out on a 26-2 run. Walsh was held to just 10 points in the first half as Ashland's defense was relentless. The Eagles would finish the game making 15 of 25 three pointers while Walsh would shoot just 4 of 27 from beyond the arc.
The Cavs will look to rebound next week as they take on Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday December 9th. The game will be back at home in Alumni Arena at 1PM.
