NORTH CANTON, OH: Coming off a non-conference win on Tuesday, the Walsh Women's Basketball team looked to earn a G-MAC win against new member, Thomas More University. This was the first meeting in program history for both schools. After a competitive, back and forth first quarter, Walsh only made one shot from the field in the 2nd quarter, getting out scored 17-6. Down 13 at half and 21 in the 3rd quarter, the Maroon and Gold made a strong effort in the 4th, cutting the deficit to 7. Thanks to a few free throws and layups, the Saints from Thomas More defeated the Walsh Cavaliers, 66-52.
The Cavs will head to Tampa, FL to face the University of Tampa and Nova Southeastern on Monday and Tuesday.
