CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY: The maroon and gold dropped their second game in a row on Saturday in a road matchup against Thomas More. This loss drops the Cavaliers to 5-3 on the year and 1-3 in the G-MAC.
Walsh did not shoot the ball well in the first half, shooting only 2-11 from beyond the arc and 11-30 from the field.
Kobe Mitchell led the Cavs with 7 first half points while
Garrison Keeslar added 6 points of his own. On the other side, Thomas More was hot from three, shooting 54% in the first half. This would lead to a 10 point advantage for the Saints at the break.
Walsh went on a run in the opening 8 minutes of the second half, cutting the lead to just 3 with 12:30 remaining in the game. This is as close as the Cavs would come as the Saints retook control of the game, stretching the lead all the way to 14 by the 5:22 mark. In the end, Thomas More would come out on top by a final of 71-60.
The Cavaliers will look to rebound on Tuesday, December 19
th back home in Alumni Arena. They will take on West Virginia Wesleyan College.
