HILLSDALE, MI: After a tricky day of travel, the Walsh Women's Basketball Team came to ready to play as the ball was tipped nearly an hour after the original start time. The Cavs shot 50% from the field and from three in the first ten minutes, scoring a total of 24 points. The quick start was needed as it proved every bucket counts as the game was back and forth throughout. Down three headed to the last ten minutes, the Cavs outlasted the Chargers in the final minute and a half of the game, resulting in a win. Lexie Scarton, Abby Hickey, and Morgan McMillen all scored in the final 90 seconds to secure the win for the Maroon and Gold.

FOR THE CAVS

• Morgan McMillen led all scorers with 24 points. This was the 12th game that she scored over 20 points this season. 
• Abby Hickey added 19 while Lexie Scarton and Lauren Galaska were also in double figures with 15 and 11 points, respectively. 
• Kiley Dyrlund and Lexie Scarton each had nine rebounds. 

FOR THE CHARGERS

• Sydney Mills recorded a double double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. 
• Grace Touchette led the team in scoring and assists with 19 points and six assists. 
• Dani Salenbien added 11 points and five assists. 

The Women are back on the court, Saturday, at Northwood.
