LAKE WALES AND ST. PETERSBURG, FL- The Maroon and Gold traveled to central Florida over the universities spring break to compete and practice in the warm weather. While there, the Cavaliers had two matches vs Warner University and Eckerd College. The trip started with a win over Warner and then the Cavs fell midweek to Eckerd. The men look to use their practice in the warm Florida climate to help them find success as conference play starts this coming weekend.

FOR THE CAVS
- Dawson Drummond and Luis Hernandez were the only victorious Cavs in doubles. They won their match 7-5.
- Luis Hernandez (7-6, 6-2), Lukas Kohler (7-6, 6-4), Blas Ruiz (6-3, 6-2) and Alex Medina Puigmarti (6-4, 7-6) helped guide the Cavs to the win.

FOR THE CAVS
- Dawson Drummond and Luis Hernandez once again were the only men in the victory column for doubles. They dominated their match, winning 6-2.
- Blas Ruiz found himself victorious, winning 6-1 and 6-2.
The Cavaliers will open G-MAC play with a home contest vs Cedarville on 3/18 and an away match vs Ashland on 3/19.
