NORTH CANTON, OH- The cold and snowy conditions could not stop the Cavaliers Women's Lacrosse team from defeating the McKendree Bearcats, 17-8. On Tuesday, the Cavaliers would rack up the goals, leading McKendree 10-4 in the first half. McKendree would come out strong in the third quarter with three goals to make the score 10-7. The Cavaliers were not messing around. They would score twice in the third quarter putting the Cavs up 12-7. In the fourth quarter, the Cavaliers would use their aggressive offense to extend their lead, 17-8, while fighting the freezing-cold temperatures. Walsh will host Notre Dame College at 6pm on 3/16.

FOR THE CAVALIERS 

• Chloe Tatlow would lead the Cavaliers with four goals.

• Lindsay Hindman and Rachel Black each had three goals a piece.

• Isabella Kelty and Melinda Maers each had two goals.

• Kelty would lead the Cavs with five assist.

• Katie Coomes, Grace Santee and Carly King each added goal.

• Tatlow would lead the Cavs with eight ground balls.  

• Maers led the Cavs with four caused turnovers.  

• Rebekah Bargeron had sixty minutes in goal, totaling nine saves on the day.
