WHEELING, WV- The Walsh Men's Lacrosse team took on Wheeling University in Wheeling, WV on Saturday, March 18th. A 5-0 run to wrap up the first half and begin the second half helped the Cavs secure the second win of the season. Wheeling would try and make a comeback in the fourth quarter but two late goals by Colby Bowman and Hudson Dennill lifted the Cavs over Wheeling, 13-10. The Cavaliers will play their first conference game on March 22nd, at 7pm, on Larry Staudt Field, against the Storm of Lake Erie College.

FOR THE CAVALIERS

• Colby Bowman led the Cavaliers with five goals. Bowman would have two assist, four ground balls, and one caused turnover. 

• Evan Stertz totaled four goals and led the Cavaliers with four assists.

• Hudson Dennill met the net with two goals. 

• Issac Stertz and Tosh Pazuik all tallied with one goal.

• Matthew Miller and Alex Sullin led the Cavaliers with three caused turnovers each.

• Alex Movshin had 59:38 minutes in goal with 13 saves.
