NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh University Men's Lacrosse team had a throwdown with the Lake Erie Storm on Wednesday (March 22). In the first few minutes of the second quarter, Lake Erie would score four times to find themselves taking the lead, but Walsh's offense would find the net to tie the game, 7-7, going into the half. The third quarter would be all Storm as they scored four goals with the Cavaliers only scoring twice. The Storms offense and defense came out strong again in the fourth quarter, outplaying the Cavs, resulting in a tough loss for their first conference game of the season. The Cavaliers would move to 2-5 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
