NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavaliers opened Great Midwest play this past weekend, at home, against Tiffin University. The Cavs won three out of the four contests and outscored the Dragons 22-20. The Maroon and Gold battled the Dragons, winning two of the three games on walk offs. The first walk off came in game one, thanks to a Cam Hollobaugh home run in the bottom of the ninth. The second game of the series was suspended due to darkness and wasn't resumed until Monday, 3/20. It was then, in the bottom of the eighth, that Matt McGrath hit a walk off single to secure back to back victories for the Cavs. Looking ahead, the Cavs will be traveling to Nashville, TN to take on Trevecca Nazarene University on 3/25-3/26.

- Matt McGrath had a multi-hit game for the Cavs.
- Patrick Ciccantelli had a huge pinch hit single in the seventh inning, driving in two runs, giving the Cavs a 3-2 lead, which led to a win.
