GRAND RAPIDS, MI- The Walsh University Men's Lacrosse team would fall short against Davenport, 13-12, on Saturday (March 25). The Cavaliers had a slow start in the first quarter, allowing Davenport to start strong with a 4-0 lead. In the second quarter, Evan Stertz would score the first goal for the Cavaliers to put them on the board. After a tough battle in the first half, the Cavaliers would trail Davenport, 7-4. Walsh would score four straight goals to take the lead in the third quarter, but both teams would be tied up, 9-9, going into the fourth quarter. In a thrilling fourth quarter, both teams would exchange goals. Davenport scored with seven seconds left to secure the victory, 13-12.
