NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers Men's Lacrosse team fought through a tough battle on Saturday. The Cavaliers were not only trying to fight the Lewis Flyers but had to fight the windy conditions and storms that rolled through Northeast Ohio. With 1:24 left in the first quarter, the game was delayed due to lighting. After the storm had passed, both teams would head back onto the field to finish the game. Lewis defeated Walsh 14-9. The loss puts the Cavaliers at 2-7 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

RECORD: Lewis 6-3 (0-1), Walsh 2-7, (1-0) 

FOR THE CAVALIERS:  

• Evan Stertz scored three points with two goals and one assist. 

• Colby Bowman and Hudson Dennill each had two goals.

• Issac Stertz, Maguire Smith, and James Sternberg all scored once on the day. 

• Joseph Rush led the Cavaliers with a team-high six ground balls. 

• Ty Pilkington dished out a team-high two assists.

• Mike Sawulak caused two turnovers.

• Goalie, Alex Movshin, had eight saves on the day.

Walsh will head back on the road to take on the Lakers of Mercyhurst University on Tuesday, April 4th at 6 p.m.
